In 2025, the Indian Premier League (IPL) will have a massive auction. This is only the second time the event is being held abroad, and the main event will take place in Jeddah on November 24 and 25. Noteworthy is the fact that 1,574 players have signed up for the auction in the hopes of being selected by a team.
The cap on the number of foreign players in a team may result in the Indian players once again drawing the highest offers, as has happened in the past.

1. Sarfaraz Khan
Sarfaraz Khan, a great batsman for India, is another person who might be enticed to bid high at the IPL 2025 mega auction. In his 40 IPL games thus far, the 27-year-old has averaged 23.21 runs per game and amassed 441 runs.
Sarfaraz is hoping to repeat his performance in the IPL after his previous stint in the longest format for team India. Since he has been making a name for himself as an Indian star of the future, his performance might be closely watched.
2. Arshdeep Singh
At the IPL 2025 mega auction, star India bowler Arshdeep Singh can command a premium price because he is a star. Recently, there have been hints of class from Arshdeep. Given his performances, any team would try to sign Arsdheep, who was released by Punjab Kings prior to the auction.
With 65 IPL games played, Arshdeep has taken 76 wickets, and the star bowler has set his base price at INR 2 crore. With an economy of 9.03 runs, Arshdeep has the potential to become the standout of any team he plays for.
3. Musheer Khan
Musheer, the brother of Indian batter Sarfaraz Khan, is not yet certain if he will be included in the forthcoming IPL 2025 big auction. Before playing in the Irani Cup, the young player was involved in a car accident and is currently recuperating. However, Musheer might be a great asset to any club if he recovers and makes an appearance in the auction pool.
Even though the 19-year-old hasn’t played a T20 match yet, his aggressive style of play in first-class cricket has made his ambitions clear. Musheer has amassed 716 runs and averaged 51.14 runs in his nine FC appearances, not to mention a double century.
4. Tanush Kotian
The IPL 2025 super auction may see Tanush Kotian, another talent, command a high price. For teams searching for a talent at a reasonable price to join their ranks, the 26-year-old might be another excellent option. It is noteworthy that Kotian has participated in 24 Twenty20 matches thus far, amassing 86 runs and claiming 22 wickets.
In his lone IPL appearance to date, Kotian has amassed 24 runs while taking 0 wickets. But if a team is searching for a driven bowling all-rounder, they should consider Kotian because the young player has the potential to become a contender and a wise investment.
5. Prasidh Krishna
If a team wants to bolster their pace assault, Indian bowler Prasidh Krishna would be a good choice. Before the IPL 2025 auction, the Rajasthan Royals released Krishna, who may be a target for a number of teams. Since his last IPL appearance in 2022, the renowned bowler has suffered from a string of injuries.
