Several venues from various cities and boards are being considered to host Team India’s home series against New Zealand in January 2026. Because India will host the Kiwis in three ODIs and five T20Is, eight towns, including Nagpur, Guwahati, Trivandrum, Indore, Mohali, Rajkot, Hyderabad, and Jaipur, are vying to host the limited-overs series in early 2026.
Notably, the series would bring an end to India’s home schedule, which will comprise two Tests against the West Indies and a full-fledged series against South Africa.
Between the home series against the Men in Maroon and the Proteas and the series against New Zealand, India will go to Australia for a white ball tour.
According to the schedule, the venues for the series against the West Indies and South Africa have already been determined. From October 19 to November 8, India will play three One-Day Internationals and five Twenty20 Internationals against Australia. After the Limited-Overs series against New Zealand, India will compete in the T20 World Cup 2026, which will be hosted jointly by them and Sri Lanka.
