‘Titles are won through teamwork’ – Gary Kirsten is creating  works on the Champions Trophy 2025 blueprint

Pakistan’s cricket team is now experiencing hardship. The squad was eliminated from the group stages of the ICC events that followed their run to the T20 World Cup 2022 finals, which is indicative of the same. After their recent rout in the Test series against Bangladesh, Gary Kirsten, the team’s white-ball coach, has made some tough choices to improve the national squad.

The domestic 50-over Champions Cup competition is now being played by the players. To keep an eye on the players’ performance, Kirsten set up camp in Faisalabad. The approach was reduced to pure mental toughness and teamwork by the former South African cricket player. Pakistan, which is slated to host the Champions Trophy in 2025, would under tremendous pressure to do well.

T20Is and ODIs between Pakistan and Australia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, and New Zealand will take place until April 2025. Nothing less than excellent preparation will be provided by the white-ball matches in advance of the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025.

After 27 years, Pakistan will host an ICC event

If winning the trophy is the team’s goal, then the forthcoming ODI tri-series against South Africa and New Zealand is a suitable prelude. Furthermore, their chances of making it to the World Test Championship final are slim.

Pakistan will host an ICC event for the first time since 1996, which brings us to the topic of Champions Trophy 2025. Prior to hosting any significant international event, security worries were the main worry because the nation was tarnished by extremist actions.
