Prominent Australian athletes Steve Smith and Mitchell Starc described Virat Kohli as a player with an Australian mentality and called him the guy to watch out for.

Many praised the star Indian batter’s strong leadership, and the period was heralded as a new era in Indian Test cricket. Speaking to Star Sports, Starc added, “I think a lot of Australian players love getting into the contest. He loves it too.”

“In my opinion, Virat Kohli is an Australian in both behavior and thought. The manner he approaches a fight, accepts the challenge, and attempts to outmaneuver the opposition. I would say that he is the most Australian of the Indian players, Smith continued.

The opening match of India’s Australian trip will take place on November 22 at Optus Stadium in Perth. More than a month and a half will pass throughout the demanding five-match Test series.
