India will look to whitewash Bangladesh in the third Twenty20 International in Hyderabad after winning handily in the first two Twenty20 Internationals that have been played.
India was down to 41/3 at Delhi and seemed vulnerable, but aggressive fifties and a mammoth partnership of 108 came from Nitish Kumar Reddy and Rinku Singh. The Men in Blue scored their best T20I total against Bangladesh thanks to Hardik Pandya’s late burst, which propelled India over the 200-run threshold.
It was never really the visitors’ turn to play. Bangladesh appeared to be struggling to recover after losing wickets early in the powerplay. Reddy took two wickets in addition to his fifty, and every Indian bowler who took a wicket did so with at least one in hand. With one game remaining, India won the series with ease, scoring 86 runs.
Mahmudullah of Bangladesh has said that this will be his final Twenty20 international play, therefore even though the third match is meaningless, it is still important.

Together with Ireland’s George Dockrell, who may yet play more, Mahmudullah will conclude as the third-highest capped player in the format.
