Travis Head, a brilliant batsman, praised Jasprit Bumrah before the second Test match against India, which is scheduled to start in Adelaide on December 6. The Indian pacer will be remembered as one of the best fast bowlers in cricket history, according to Head.
The star bowler was declared the Player of the Match after taking eight wickets in Perth. During the second innings, when Head was exerting pressure on India, Bumrah took his wicket and helped his team return to the game.
Speaking about Bumrah’s carnage, Head stated that he will be teaching his grandchildren about the challenges of facing the pacer. Head said that after facing India a few times, he has begun to understand what to anticipate from the group.
It’s likely that Jasprit Bumrah will be remembered as one of the best fast bowlers in history.
It’s good to play against that, as we’re currently discovering how difficult he can be. Telling your grandchildren that you faced him will be a pleasant way to reflect on your career. He’s been difficult, so maybe I just have to face him a few more times,” Head was cited as saying.
“I do best when I’m just getting ready to observe the ball hard and maintaining my mental acuity. I consider myself fortunate to have faced him a couple times and encountered him frequently. I simply review the recent instances in which I have dealt with him. I know what’s coming since we’ve been fortunate enough to play against him a lot. I just need to make sure I’m ready and rested to start well,” he continued.
Head added that there is no division within the Australian squad. Head stated that there is no evidence of a potential fracture within the team, despite Josh Hazlewood’s remarks about the batters drawing criticism.
