Ace Shaheen Afridi, a pacer for Pakistan, is scheduled to play in the Bangladesh Premier League for the first time in 2024–2025. The defending champions, Fortune Barishal, have signed the great pacer. It is important to remember that the 11th edition of the BPL will begin on December 30.
Fortune Barishal and newcomers Durbar Rajshahi will play in the season opening at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium. It’s important to note that Shaheen Afridi was signed directly and will be available for the competition’s first five matches because the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) gave him a no-objection certificate that lasts until January 15.
“Shaheen Afridi, a left-arm fast bowler from Pakistan, will play for Fortune Barishal in the upcoming BPL,” the team announced.
Additionally, Kyle Mayers, Dawid Malan, Mohammad Nabi, Faheem Ashraf, Ali Mohammad, and Jahandad Khan are a few of Fortune Barishal’s other direct hires. In order to successfully defend their title, the team will try to play at their highest level.
