All-rounder Annabel Sutherland of Australia has advanced quickly in the ICC Women’s ODI Player Rankings thanks to her game-winning performances in the ICC Women’s Championship series against New Zealand.
After being named Player of the Match in the second and third ODIs that Australia won after the first match was called off without a ball being bowled, the 23-year-old has achieved career-best rankings in all three lists.
Her three for 39 in the third ODI has moved her up three spots to 17th place in the bowling rankings, while her 105 not out and 42 in the two games have propelled her up 11 spots to 18th place in the batting rankings. After winning Player of the Series, she also rose from ninth to seventh place on the all-rounders’ list.
According to the most recent weekly update, which also takes into account performances in the first ODI between India and the West Indies at Vadodara, captain Alyssa Healy has moved up two spots to eighth place with scores of 34 and 39 in the two matches, while Phoebe Litchfield has moved up one spot to 24th among batters.
