Cricket South Africa (CSA) has revealed their 15-man team for the prestigious Champions Trophy 2025, which is quickly approaching. The Proteas have been playing well in all formats, including the ODI World Cup 2023, the WTC final, and the T20 World Cup 2024 final.
When the Champions Trophy draws near, the team will want to maintain its current level of performance while going all the way. It’s important to note that Temba Bavuma will lead South Africa in the competition, which will feature players like Aiden Markram, Heinrich Klaasen, David Miller, and many more. South Africa announced their tournament squad on social media.
The 15-member team for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which will take place in Pakistan from February 19 to March 9, was revealed today by white-ball head coach Rob Walter. “The full-strength squad, which includes 10 players who participated in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 in India, where South Africa advanced to the semi-finals, will be led by One-Day International Captain Temba Bavuma,” CSA captioned the image.
The report went on to say, “All-rounder Wiaan Mulder and batters Tony de Zorzi, Ryan Rickelton, and Tristan Stubbs have been selected for their first senior 50-over ICC tournament.”

South Africa will play their first match of the Champions Trophy, which will be hosted in Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates starting on February 19. The National Stadium in Karachi will host the match between the two teams, and the team will be hoping to start strong.
