When a fan asked the spin bowling all-rounder for Pakistan on the Geo News show “Hasna Mana Hai” about it, Shadab spoke up about cricket players’ experiences with the pros of the film industry.
“Is it wrong for cricket players to convey messages? Everyone has the ability to block, so if you don’t like it, don’t respond. However, actors have also responded, and they seem interested, as if they want to communicate,” Shadab remarked.
Shadab continued, “We have seen some videos where things are exaggerated but it doesn’t turn out like that, some actors do it for fame, like during a tournament or World Cup such things come out because everyone is watching it.”
The firsthand experience of Shadab Khan
Even though the 2017 Champions Trophy champion was married to the daughter of famed Pakistani spinner Saqlain Mushtaq, Malaika Saqlain, Shahtaj Khan, a well-known social media influencer from Pakistan, had claimed last year that Shadab Khan had messaged her and asked her to marry him.
“I was disappointed when he got married, which is, in my opinion, rather typical when your crush gets married. Even at that time, I was speaking with him, but I was unaware that he was getting married,” Shahtaj had stated.
However, Shadab would respond bluntly, refuting these allegations as well as everything she had stated about him and his relationship with her.
“What’s being claimed is unlike anything else,” Shadab stated.
