A prime-time feast awaits cricket fans as longstanding rivals get ready to play again. The highly anticipated first season of the International Masters League (IML), which will include six teams—India, Australia, England, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and the West Indies—has its schedule of games revealed.
The first match between the Asian powerhouses is set for February 22, 2025, with Sachin Tendulkar leading the Indian team versus Kumar Sangakkara’s Sri Lankan squad.
“The IML will honor cricket’s distinctive and enduring heritage. In a league that will be fierce and competitive, with all the teams playing hard but fairly, I am eager to return to the field with my peers, said Indian captain Sachin Tendulkar.
“Cricket’s everlasting appeal is celebrated in the IML.
The prospect is fantastic for former cricket players. They can rekindle old rivalries and reestablish connections with supporters on this platform. Sri Lankan captain Kumar Sangakkara expressed his excitement about playing in this historic league with so many famous people.

IML 2025 Fixtures: After five matches in Navi Mumbai, the IML will move to Rajkot; thereafter, the matches will move to Raipur. Raipur will also host the semi-finals and final.
Where to watch IML 2025?: JioStar’s Disney+ Hotstar along with Colors Cineplex (SD & HD) and Colors Cineplex Superhits will broadcast the tournament live. The matches will begin at 7:30 pm.
