Reigning champions Mumbai will not have their outstanding batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal, which is a huge setback ahead of their match against Vidarbha in the Ranji Trophy 2024–25 semi-final. Jaiswal, who was selected as a “non-travelling reserve” for the 2025 Champions Trophy Indian squad, has been ruled out due to left ankle soreness, the Times of India said. To properly evaluate his condition and receive the required care, the southpaw will now travel to the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence.
