On February 24, Smriti Mandhana was dismissed for the third time by UP Warriorz captain Deepti Sharma, continuing her battle against off-spin. A forceful arm-ball delivery from Deepti undid the RCB captain, who then got an inside edge and crashed against the stumps, falling for a nine-ball six.
For the eleventh time in the WPL, the left-handed opener was out, which is the most for any batter.
Furthermore, Smriti Mandhana only managed to score seven runs against Deepti.
Marking the third time in the WPL that she had dismissed the left-hander.
