In the Champions Trophy 2025, a new controversy has surfaced. Allegedly, a supporter was taken from Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium for holding an Indian flag.
Social media users have shared a video of a fan being taken away by security guards while holding an Indian flag at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore during a Champions Trophy 2025 game. According to the video, two guys who appeared to be from Pakistan’s security team grabbed the Indian flag and removed the fan. This incident is said to have occurred on Saturday, February 22, during the match between Australia and England.
According to the video, which went viral in a matter of minutes, the man was caught and abused for carrying the Indian flag.
Nevertheless, there has been no indication as to why the security staff reacted the way they did. The Pakistan Cricket Board, or PCB, has yet to respond to this footage. The identity of the person is still unclear. Some believe he is a Pakistani national who backs the Men in Blue, while others claim he is Indian.

Out of the Champions Trophy 2025, Pakistan
Pakistan sits at the bottom of Group A after losing to India and New Zealand back-to-back. The last match between the Mohammad Rizwan-led team and Bangladesh, who have already been eliminated, is merely a formality, and they have already been eliminated from the competition. Pakistan cricket has suffered from inconsistency for a long time, particularly in ICC events, therefore this is a major setback.
They were able to make it to the 2022 T20 World Cup finals. However, neither the 2023 ODI World Cup nor the 2024 T20 World Cup saw the Men in Green advance to the knockout stage. The defending champions’ most recent disaster is their sudden elimination from the Champions Trophy.
