UP Warriorz captain Deepti Sharma and Capri Sports’ director Jinisha Sharma met with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow prior to their home leg of the WPL 2025 and invited him to the team’s games.

As we prepare for our home leg matches in Lucknow, he has motivated our team to play to the best of our abilities. In Season 3 of the WPL, the UP Warriorz are preparing for their home stretch in Lucknow. The UP Warriorz, owned by Capri Sports and led by Deepti Sharma of Uttar Pradesh, are hoping to make history by playing at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium for the first time.
In this WPL leg, the UP Warriorz will first play the Gujarat Giants on March 3. The club will then play the Mumbai Indians and the reigning champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru on March 6 and 8, respectively, under the capable tutelage of Jon Lewis.
