On Tuesday, March 4, India defeated Australia by four wickets in the first semi-final to advance to the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final. On Sunday, March 9, the Men in Blue will face the victor of the second semi-final between South Africa and New Zealand at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai in the final match.
India has always had a lot of fans wherever they play, so it was no surprise when the demand for Champions Trophy final tickets skyrocketed after it was confirmed that India would qualify for the match on Sunday.
Despite being unclear, the Rohit Sharma-led team’s opponent appears to have no bearing because supporters have already begun swarming internet ticket booking portals to get seats.
On X (previously Twitter), senior writer Amol Karhadkar posted a picture with a screenshot of the ticket demand attached. The projected wait time before actually reaching the booking page was over an hour, and over 14,000 people were already visible in a virtual queue.

The tickets have already been made available on the ticket resale website Viagogo, and customers who have obtained them are selling them for up to an incredible INR 6 lakh. The tickets are almost sold out despite the exorbitant cost.
India has been unbeaten in every game thus far in the eight-team tournament, making them the side to beat. They defeated New Zealand, Bangladesh, and Pakistan in the Group A matches before thrashing the Australians in the penultimate match on Tuesday.
Speaking of the second semi-final, the Proteas and BlackCaps will square off in an exciting match at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium on March 5th. The two teams will be fighting for a spot in the final match versus India. While the loser would return home dissatisfied, the victor of this match will proceed to Dubai to play Rohit & Co.
