Some of the best international teams have put on some incredible performances in the ongoing Champions Trophy 2025, a massive ICC cricket game. Jos Buttler‘s England squad, which came last in their group and didn’t win a single game, is among the sides that have fallen far short of expectations in the competition. Only one team in the competition finished with zero points, and that is the England team.
Several experts and former England cricket players have voiced their dissatisfaction with the team’s performance, and they have been very critical of it.
Among the past cricket players who expressed dissatisfaction with the team’s performance was great batter and former England captain Alastair Cook,
who also mentioned how he trained as a player and was irritated by the team’s carefree style under Brendon McCullum and Ben Stokes.

Buttler left after a lacklustre Champions Trophy exit.
Star batsman and wicketkeeper Jos Buttler resigned as captain of the England squad for both One Day Internationals (ODIs) and Twenty20 Internationals. Many fans now want to know who will be guiding the team in these two configurations in the future.
