Sunrisers Hyderabad has always enjoyed one of the strongest lineups since its debut in the Indian Premier League. When it comes to their batting lineup, this is especially true. They have boasted over the years that they had one of the most deadly hitters in their squad, capable of destroying any bowling assault in the league.
In recent years, they have done precisely that. In any cricket format, but particularly in the 20-over mode, opening batsmen are vital. They are the ones tasked with taking the initiative from the start and maximizing the fielding limitations, whether they are chasing or batting first.

1. Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma
The batting chemistry between Head and Abhishek Sharma clicked almost instantly. Head joined the SRH camp in the 2024 season itself. Right from the outset, the two provided explosively blistering stars to their side on almost every occasion.
When the entirety of the previous season is taken into account, the pair racked up a total of 691 runs in 15 innings. The well-established duo can be relied upon by the management if need be.
2. Travis Head and Ishan Kishan
Travis Head and Ishan Kishan in tandem at the top of the order could be another combination SRH could try out. There is no doubt about how destructive Head and Kishan can get while operating at full throttle. Their combined international experience will surely bring a lot to the table.
Furthermore, both are known for their no-holds-barred approach to the willow. The two can be an absolute menace to bowlers, especially when there is a batting conducive deck in store for the batters to make merry.
3. Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan
Both Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan have enough IPL experience in the tank to be a potential opening combination once the season starts. While at Mumbai Indians, Kishan contributed with many rapid-fire starts with the then-skipper, Rohit Sharma, at the other end.
Abhishek, on the other hand, is a budding talent who has been reaching new heights every time he steps foot on the field. The two would also be expected to develop a solid rapport with each other, considering both hail from the same nation.
