Next up for Babar & Co. is the Multan Sultans
With two losses in their first two games and a net run-rate of -4.550, the Babar Azam-led team has struggled to stay competitive in the tournament. They will next play the Multan Sultans, who are captained by batsman-wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan. Sultans are in a bad spot as well, having lost both of their first games. On Saturday, April 19, the two teams will play their next match in Rawalpindi. Either team’s victory would put them on the PSL 2025 Points Table, however even if Sultans win, the table is probably going to stay the same, while Babar & Co.’s victory would put them up one spot. Consequently, the impending matchup is expected to be tantalising.
