How can MI qualify for IPL 2025 Playoffs?
The Hardik Pandya-led MI have been having a terrific season so far, however, their qualification chances hang by a thread, and only they can save themselves from the embarrassment of being knocked out. To confirm a spot in the Playoffs, MI need to beat DC in Match 62 on Wednesday, May 21. However, if they lose to DC, a win in the next game while also hoping that Delhi lose their last. Notably, both MI and DC will play their last respective league stage game against Punjab Kings, who have already qualified.
A win in both the games can also ensure a second-place finish for MI, given RCB (2nd currently) and PBKS (3rd) lose both their respective remaining fixtures. As a result, the race to grabbing the last spot on the playoffs has actually spiced up, with two teams fighting for a solitary spot, adding to the excitement as the league stage reached its fag end.
