A charged-up Mohammed Siraj yelled with excitement after dismissing Ben Duckett on the fourth day of the third Test against England at Lord’s. Duckett made little touch with Siraj’s shoulders while passing him after being caught at mid-on.
Duckett was limited for space as his draw shot fell into the clutches of Jasprit Bumrah. The ball came off the inner portion of the bat, and Duckett did not obtain the necessary elevation. He did not respond, but appeared to modify his direction after a little shoulder bump between the two. The England opener walked back after scoring a run-a-ball twelve.
Siraj gets the wicket of Duckett, but that celebration was unacceptable. Charging in the batter’s face with shoulder contact crosses the line. Passion is fine — intimidation isn’t. Umpires should step in. #ENGvIND #SpiritOfCricket#ENGvIND#SkySports pic.twitter.com/GGUlvOguGy

Meanwhile, the on-field umpires took note of Siraj’s angry behaviour and spoke with him after the bowler left the Indian huddle.
Duckett’s wicket was his third of the game, following his 2/85 in 23.3 overs in the first innings. Duckett’s score was another low in the Test after his previous innings score of 23.
India were dismissed for 387 in their first innings, matching the hosts’ first innings total. KL Rahul (100 off 177) top-scored with an outstanding tonne, his fourth in the red-ball format in England, while key 70s from Rishabh Pant (74 off 112) and Ravindra Jadeja (72 off 131) helped the visitors.
Chris Woakes was the standout performer with the ball with a three-wicket haul (3/84 in 27 overs) to his name while comeback man Jofra Archer (2/52 in 23.2 overs) and Ben Stokes (2/63 in 20 overs) shared four wickets between them.
