Arshdeep Singh, Jitesh Sharma, and Harshit Rana made a humorous joke at Pakistan cricketer Abrar Ahmed after India won the Asia Cup 2025
Final by five wickets at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday, September 28.
The left-arm pacer performed Ahmed’s famous head shake, and his colleagues joined in the fun. In an Instagram video provided by Arshdeep, wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson was seen smiling at the antics of his teammates.

Tilak Varma’s match-winning performance secured India’s ninth Asia Cup victory. The left-hander led India to victory with an unbeaten 69 off 53 balls, including three fours and four sixes. Shivam Dube scored 33 runs, and Sanju Samson added 24. Faheem Ashraf was Pakistan’s outstanding bowler, taking three wickets for 29 runs.
In the first innings, Pakistan scored 146 all out in 19.1 overs, with Sahibzada Farhan top-scoring with 57 runs from 38 balls, including five fours and three sixes, while Fakhar Zaman contributed 46 and Saim Ayub 14. The rest of Pakistan’s batting lineup struggled, with all of them removed for single digit scores.
India’s bowling attack remained dominant throughout. Kuldeep Yadav was the hero, collecting 4/30, with Varun Chakravarthy, Jasprit Bumrah, and Axar Patel all contributing two wickets each.
With this triumph, India finished the Asia Cup undefeated, having won all seven matches. The Men in Blue also defeated Pakistan three times in this tournament, demonstrating their domination over their archrivals.
India will now focus on their next task, a two-match Test series against the West Indies commencing on October 2 in Ahmedabad, while Pakistan will return home to play a two-match Test series against South Africa beginning October 12.
