Former Indian ODI captain Rohit Sharma’s involvement in the forthcoming ICC ODI World Cup 2027 is still being speculated. With Rohit no longer heading the team, some fans and cricket commentators feel he would miss the flagship competition.
At 38 years old, the experienced opener will face examination from the selectors for both form and fitness. Former cricketer Mohammad Kaif had a different perspective. Kaif emphasised Rohit’s demonstrated ability to score runs consistently, claiming that such consistency might secure his spot in the World Cup squad.
