On Saturday, December 27, MS Dhoni paid a visit to Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s farmhouse in Panvel, where he was celebrating his 60th birthday with his family and other guests. The former Indian captain attended the star-studded event alongside his wife, Sakshi Dhoni, and daughter, Ziva Dhoni.
Salman and MS Dhoni also posed for a shot together, which quickly became viral on social media.
This, however, should come as no surprise given that both personalities are stalwarts in their respective areas with millions of fans.

Celebrities including Aditya Roy Kapur, Rakul Preet Singh, Huma Qureshi, Genelia D’Souza, Tabu, Helen, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Randeep Hooda and Mika Singh were also invited.
Salman’s last movie was ‘Sikandar’, which was released on March 30, 2025. It failed to live up to its hype, despite collecting a decent amount of money at the box office. His next film, ‘The Battle of Galwan’, is expected to arrive in theatres next year.
Meanwhile, MS Dhoni will also return to action in 2026, as he is set to play his 19th season in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The 44-year-old led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the last nine matches in IPL 2025. However, the franchise finished at the bottom of the points table for the first time. On expected lines, Dhoni was retained by CSK ahead of the IPL 2026 mini-auction.
Ruturaj Gaikwad is set to take charge of the Men in Yellow in IPL 2026 after missing most parts of last season due to an injury. Dhoni is at the twilight of his playing career, but has been able to manage his body commendably. Fans are waiting to watch the wicketkeeper-batter returning to the field for what promises to be another exciting season in the cash-rich league.
