India was scheduled to play three ODIs and as many T20Is against Bangladesh in August 2025. The matches were scheduled to take place in Mirpur and Chattogram. However, on July 5, 2025, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced that the tour had been formally postponed till September 2026.
The rescheduling was due to international calendar congestion and logistical issues faced by both countries.
While it was previously stated that India would face Bangladesh in September, the specific dates for the matches were confirmed on Friday, January 2.
The Indian team is currently slated to arrive in Bangladesh on August 28, with ODI matches on September 1, 3, and 6. Meanwhile, the T20Is will take place on September 9, 12, and 13, before the neighbours return home.

The first Test is slated for the October 28-November 1 window, whereas the second will be played from November 5-9.
