T20 World Cup 2026: Bangladesh unveils 15-member team, Litton Das to lead

Bangladesh Cricket Board has named a 15-member roster for the 2026 T20 World Cup. Litton Das has been chosen to lead the unit. Bangladesh is selected in Group C and will begin their campaign on February 7.

The 31-year-old wicketkeeper-batter is expected to carry the most of the batting load. They also have Tanzid Hasan and Parvez Hossain Emon at the top of the order. The two are anticipated to offer excellent beginnings for the Tigers in their hitting innings. Saif Hassan, Litton’s deputy, would also be under close scrutiny.

In the bowling department, the spin combination of Mahedi Hasan, Nasum Ahmed, and Rishad Hossain will be relied on, given the typical subcontinental conditions. The pace unit consists of Mustafizur Rahman, Tanzim Hasim Sakib, Taskin Ahmad, and Shoriful Islam.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the national squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, to be jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka from 7 February to 8 March.
