On Friday, March 31, the 16th season of the Indian Premier League will start at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The defending champions, the Gujarat Titans, will play the four-time champions, the Chennai Super Kings. Because of how big it is, the T20 carnival is one of the most sought-after T20 tournaments in the world.
Fans are excited about the return of the T20 event, and some of the legends of the sport are also taking part in the chain of predictions about who will make it to the top four of the mouth-watering event at the end of the league stage. Two of the biggest names in cricket, AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle, recently made a bold prediction about who they think will make it to the top four of the IPL in 2023 after the league stage.
Former Royal Challengers Bangalore players chose their top four for the nearly two-month-long event. Gayle chose Lucknow, Gujarat, Mumbai, and Rajasthan to finish in the top four, while AB de Villiers chose RCB, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Gujarat.
The two players were recently inducted into the RCB Hall of Fame on March 26 in Bangalore.
