In the final few overs, the KL Rahul-led Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) turned the game around. Nicholas Pooran and Marcus Stoinis‘ blitzkrieg helped them win the game with the last ball. But after the exciting chase, Rahul, who was captain, said that he made the right choice by playing carefully when he was at the crease.
The top order worked together to help Faf du Plessis and the rest of the team score a huge 212 runs. The captain got 79 out of 46 runs, while Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell each got 61 out of 59 runs.
In response to the chase, openers KL Rahul and big-hitting Kyle Mayers had a bad start, and Mayers was out for nothing.
Also, the home team got the Super Giants down to 23 runs with three wickets lost in four overs. Their captain had to lead from the front to get the chase going again.
But KL Rahul decided to play carefully in the high-scoring chase, and he was eventually out for 18 runs off of 20 balls. This made the situation even worse for his team.
