Following RCB’s defeat by CSK, Zaheer Khan criticizes the batting plan, saying “Issues will persist throughout the season.”

The Faf du Plessis-led Royal Challengers Bangalore had a shaky start to the 16th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2023. The team has played five games thus far in the campaign, winning twice and losing three times. The rest of their batting lineup hasn’t had much of an impact, despite their top order having a great tournament.  According to the 44-year-old, if Dinesh Karthik is unable to find his form, the issues can continue throughout the competition.

Regarding this, former India pacer Zaheer Khan spoke up to highlight a significant weakness in the team’s batting lineup.

“Given Virat Kohli’s early dismissal and the manner in which Faf and Max batted, we can see the pressure they were under. The rest of them are inexperienced; therefore, if Dinesh Karthik cannot perform in the middle or in the end, then these problems would continue all season, according to Zaheer Khan for Jio Cinema.
