The young opening batsman, Yashasvi Jaiswal, maintained his form as he raced to a fast fifty. The 21-year-old scored fifty off only 26 deliveries. Significantly, this is his third fifty in the current season.

RR hopes to regain their footing against CSK after suffering two consecutive defeats. Meanwhile, the MS Dhoni-led squad had won three consecutive matches, propelling them to the summit of the IPL 2023 points table. Moreover, RR have the advantage in this game because they defeated CSK in their previous season matchup in Chennai.
One of Jaiswal’s sixes off a delivery by Ravindra Jadeja captured the attention of everyone. Jaiswal, who was batting on 41*, attempted a reverse hit and drove the ball over the backward point as it went over the boundary for a six.
