Former cricketer Rahul Sharma thanked former India batsman Gautam Gambhir on Twitter for his invaluable assistance in caring for his ill mother-in-law. The condition of Rahul’s mother-in-law, who suffered from a brain hemorrhage and was in serious condition, was unknown.
However, according to recent developments, the former spinner revealed that Gambhir was the one who saved him at a critical moment. He continued by saying that the 2011 World Cup champion batsman obtained his mother-in-law the best neurologist and secured her admission to the Sir Ganga Ram hospital in New Delhi with the aid of his personal assistant, Gaurav Arora.
Rahul Sharma continued by stating that the procedure went well and expressing his gratitude to all those who assisted him during this delicate time. Following the successful surgery, Rahul posted touching images of his mother-in-law on his Twitter account.
“The past month was incredibly challenging. My mother-in-law’s condition was grave because of a brain hemorrhage. Thank you to Gautam Gambhir Paaji and his PA, Gaurav Arora, for their assistance during this trying time. They found me the best hospital and neurologist quickly, and the surgery was a success. Right now, she is doing great. Thanks to Gangaram Hospital’s personnel for providing such great treatment.
Rahul Sharma tweeted, “Special gratitude to Dr. Manish Chugh, whose kind care is extraordinary.
Gambhir’s LSG wants to make the playoffs.
Gambhir is now serving as the franchise’s mentor for the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the ongoing IPL 2023. With 11 games completed, 11 points, and a net run rate (NRR) of 0.294, Lucknow is currently third in the IPL points table.
Given that the team has lost two of its past three games and had one canceled, it will need to quickly resume winning. LSG will try to win the remaining games to clinch a berth in the playoffs with three games left in the group stage.
KL Rahul’s injury, which will keep him out for the rest of the season, dealt the team a serious setback. It will be interesting to see if Lucknow returns to winning ways, as Krunal Pandya has the burden of leading the side. On Saturday, May 13, LSG and Sunrisers Hyderabad square off in Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
