Former India cricketer Mohammed Kaif praised KKR star batsman Rinku Singh for moving his game to the next level in IPL 2023 due to his increased maturity.
Star Sports, the official television broadcaster of the IPL 2023, will air the highly anticipated ‘Rivalry Week’ from the 6th to the 13th of May 2023. With each passing contest, Rivalry Week continues to live up to the hype. It is delivering some of the most intense and thrilling matches in IPL history between the greatest rivals.
As the tournament nears its conclusion, fans are also able to witness the rivalry between the North and South teams as the tournament’s top teams from each region compete for two crucial points. The majority of teams are still in contention for a postseason berth, making this tournament one of the most tightly contested in its 15-year history. The rivalry week began on May 6 with one of the ‘Greatest Rivalries’ of the IPL, when CSK and MI squared off.
In the next match of Rivalry Week, the Rajasthan Royals will travel east to Eden Gardens in Kolkata to face the resurgent Kolkata Knight Riders. The Sanju Samson-led Royals have lost four of their last five games, and a setback against KKR will diminish their chances of making the playoffs. Despite the congestion in the middle of the points table, Nitish Rana-led KKR has returned to winning form.
Md. Kaif stated on Star Sports’ Cricket Live, “Rinku Singh has this maturity.” His technique is excellent, and he attempts to rotate his strikes. Rinku understands how to convert his form into effective blows and when to change gears. He is also capable of making powerful strikes.”
Harbhajan Singh, a former India cricketer who has spent time in the KKR dressing room, believes Rinku’s development will soon help him acquire the elusive India cap.
Harbhajan Singh stated, “That India cap is close to Rinku’s cranium. He is such an inspiring athlete. To get where he is now, he has put in a tremendous amount of effort and labor. He deserves full credit for having such confidence in himself. His voyage is a lesson in life that all young children should learn from.”
