Notably, according to The Telegraph, Moeen’s Indian Premier League (IPL) team, the Chennai Super Kings, is planning to give him a two-year contract that will allow him to play for both the Texas Super Kings in the USA and the Joburg Super Kings, CSK’s sister team in South Africa.

The 35-year-old has played in 74 T20Is and scored 1076 runs while doing so. He also has 42 wickets to his name. So, he has a lot of practice in the shortest format, and he has also done well for the Super Kings franchise in the past.

He also gets along well with them, and now the plan is to take their relationship to the next level. If the cricket player decides to sign with them, the franchise will be in charge of his plan. He will also have to give up his deal with England, which could put his spot in the next ODI World Cup in danger.
