Fans will be able to watch all ODI World Cup Qualifier games live for the first time.

Today, the International Cricket Council released information about the broadcast licensees and commentators for the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup Qualifier, which will be held in Zimbabwe from June 18 to July 9.

With 10 teams competing for two spots at the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 in India, each game will have a lot riding on it. If they make it, they will play nine games at cricket’s ODI global highlight.

At this event, the ICC will cover all 34 games live for the first time. Twenty of the games, played at the Harare Sports Club in Harare and the Queen’s Sports Club in Bulawayo, will be made to broadcast standards.

The coverage for the last 14 games, which will be played at the Takashinga Cricket Club in Harare and the Bulawayo Athletic Club in Bulawayo, will be made available for live streaming.

Star Sports, which is the ICC’s global broadcast partner, will show televised matches in India, Nepal, and Bangladesh on the Star Sports 1 station. All 34 games will also be streamed live in India on Disney+Hotstar and FanCode. Fans in Nepal can watch all 34 games on Net TV.

In Sri Lanka, all 34 games will be shown on TV1 and Sirasa TV, as well as the Maharaja TV website for digital viewing. Fans of cricket in Bangladesh can watch some games live on Gazi TV, and all games can be watched live on Rabbithole and Toffee. In Pakistan, PTV Sports will show the 20 high-spec games live, and all 34 games will be shown live on the app that goes with it.

In the Caribbean Islands, ESPN and ESPN 2 will show the games on TV, and ESPN Play will play the games live. Willow TV will show 20 games on TV across North America. The full schedule can be watched live on Hotstar in Canada and ESPN+ in the US.

All 20 TV games will be shown on Sky Sports’ Sky Sports Cricket channel in the UK and Ireland. All 20 games can also be streamed on the Sky Sports app. All of the games will be streamed on Yupp TV in continental Europe, which includes the Netherlands.

Fans in Zimbabwe can watch their home game on SuperSport or stream it through the SuperSport app. Supersport will show the game on their Grandstand and Cricket TV channels and their digital app in South Africa and the rest of sub-Saharan Africa.

Matches will be shown on CricLife and CricLife Max in the Middle East, including in Oman and the UAE. Matches can also be watched on StarzPlay, Switch TV, and Du.

Here is the full list of people who aired.

Short summaries will be posted on ICC Digital sites, such as the ICC website and the @ICC and @cricketworldcup accounts on Instagram and Facebook that are owned by Meta. Fans of cricket in the UK and Ireland will be able to get short-form material from BBC Sport, and fans around the world will be able to get audio coverage through Digital 2 Sports on YouTube.

From the Super Six stage on, this event will use DRS for the first time. Hawk-Eye’s ball tracking and edge detection system is part of the DRS specification.

Sunset+Vine, a partner in production services, and NEP Broadcast Solutions, a partner in equipment services, help with the ICC TV broadcast. AE Live will make the graphics that will be shown on-air during the broadcast footage.

Mpumelelo Mbangwa, Ian Bishop, Natalie Germanos, Andy Flower, Ashwell Prince, Carlos Brathwaite, Preston Mommsen, Brian Murgatroyd, Samuel Badree, Niall O’Brien, Ed Rainsford, Russel Arnold, Dirk Nannes, and Mitchell McClenaghan will be on the analysis team.

Raunak Kapoor, Andrew Leonard, Nikhil Uttamchandani, Firdose Moonda, and Tino Mawoyo will also play in the live-streamed events.

Mpumelelo Mbangwa

“I’m looking forward to the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup Qualifier with great excitement.

You can’t say enough about how important the event was. Even though each team is valued in its own way, the competition is a signpost for the future of our great game and needs each team to do their best under a lot of pressure.

“As this happens on the pitch, the Zimbabwe cricket fans will give it an electric energy that will make anyone watching from afar jealous and many visitors glad they came. I’m so excited!”

Natalie Germanos

“The ICC Men’s Cricket ODI World Cup is the best game of its kind, and these teams are so close to being able to play in it.

“It’s an honour to be on the team that will bring the qualifying game to life through broadcasting. I can’t wait to see how this amazing event goes and to see people’s dreams come true.”

Bishop Ian

“The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup continues to be a high point for all male players who want to compete against the best of their peers and make a dream come true. So, with ten teams and a lot of players fighting for the last two spots to make that dream come true, there will once again be a lot of competition, entertainment, and drama for both players and fans.

“My coworkers and I are excited and honoured to be able to cover and tell you about the stories and excitement of these battles over the next three weeks, and we can’t wait to tell you who wins in the end.”
