I think Ravindra Jadeja will do what Yuvraj Singh did in the 2011 World Cup: Krishnamachari Srikkanth

India won the 2013 Champions Trophy thanks to Ravindra Jadeja skills in all areas. The plan for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 was announced on Tuesday, June 27, in Mumbai by the International Cricket Council (ICC) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). India will be the only country to host the World Cup for the first time ever. India won the prized trophy the last time they hosted the event, in 2011. MS Dhoni was in charge of the team at that time.

Yuvraj Singh was named Player of the Tournament because he scored 362 runs and took 15 wickets, both of which helped his team win. Krishnamachari Srikkanth, a former Indian cricketer, thinks Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel can play similar roles in the upcoming World Cup as India tries to win its first ICC title in ten years.

“At the 2011 World Cup, there were a lot of players who could do everything. We had a great team, and (MS) Dhoni led us well. This time, we have Yuvraj Singh.  Hindustan Times reported that Srikkanth said, “I think Jadeja, the Axar Patel Patels, and other players like them will be very important if India wants to win the 2023 World Cup.”

I think Ravindra Jadeja will do in the 2015 World Cup what Yuvraj Singh did in 2011.

In all three forms, Jadeja has been one of India’s best players for a long time. The 34-year-old has played in 174 One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and has scored 2526 runs at an average of 32.80, with 13 50s. In this version, he has also taken 191 wickets, with an average of 37.39.

The southpaw’s all-around skills helped India win the ICC Champions Trophy in 2013. In the final, he was named Player of the Match for his all-around performance. In the first innings, he got 33* off 25 balls and then took 2/24 with the ball. With 12 wickets, Jadeja was also the player who took the most during the event.

The all-rounder will be expected to do as well in the next World Cup as he did in the last one. On the other hand, Axar Patel was part of India’s World Cup team in 2015, but he was injured and couldn’t play. The 29-year-old was great with both the bat and the ball for Delhi Capitals in IPL 2023. If he gets picked for the World Cup, he will try to keep up his form there.
