The South Zone needed something special from the ball in the ongoing Duleep Trophy final after being knocked out for 213 in the first inning, and teenage bowler Vidwath Kaverappa delivered.

In the present Duleep Trophy final, the 24-year-old gave West Zone a commanding lead by taking seven wickets in their first innings.
