When we were all retired, he said he was most looking forward to sharing a glass of red with all of us, and I recall him saying that to me. I’ll have the bottle ready, Broady, but I need to finish a task in south London beforehand,” he continued.

David Warner and Usman Khawaja of Australia put up a strong performance in response to a chase of 384 runs, scoring 135 runs for the first wicket before play was halted by rain. The last day’s responsibilities for both the game and the Ashes series kept the stakes high.
