Devdutt Padikkal revealed the specifics of his injuries and subsequent care. He has played two T20Is for India.
“During the Deodhar Trophy, I fractured my left thumb. So, to rectify that, I had to have a minor operation. I won’t be returning to the game for at least three to four weeks. Hopefully soon, I can return to the field,” he told Fancode.
The young hitter for the Rajasthan Royals recently posted on social media about his recuperation process, writing, “Just a little update. I had to get surgery because I fractured my left thumb. I can’t wait to go back on the field soon as the road to recovery has started.
