Team India had one of its most inspirational runs at the 2011 World Cup, putting on fantastic performances throughout the competition. India overcame Sri Lanka in one of the most famous cricket game finales, and they eventually won the tournament. Yuvraj Singh, an all-around player, was, nonetheless, the man for Team India throughout the competition. Yuvraj put in outstanding performances with the bat and the ball while battling cancer, winning Player of the Tournament in the process.

India play Australia in the 2023 World Cup opener.
Similar to the 2011 World Cup, India will totally host the 2023 edition. They are prepared to begin their tournament by playing Australia on October 8 in Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium.
On October 5, the tournament will get underway in Ahmedabad with a match between England and New Zealand. Given that they are hosting, it will be intriguing to watch if India can end their ICC curse and win the coveted trophy for a third time.
