The Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) has assembled a star-studded team, captained by the explosive all-arounder Washington Sundar, to compete in the forthcoming 2023–24 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy competition. In this intense T20 match, which is set to begin on October 16, batter Sai Sudharsan will serve as vice captain, bolstering the team’s potency.
The cricketing powerhouse Tamil Nadu has an impressive track record in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, having won the competition three times. They won in the original 2006–07 season as well as the more recent 2020–21 and 202–22 seasons.
