During Match 20 of the SA20 2024, Sunrisers Eastern Cape (SUNE) defeated MI Cape Town (MICT) in an exciting match. Sunrisers Eastern Cape won the toss and chose to bat first, setting the stage for a close game.
Their strong powerplay, spearheaded by Tom Abell, saw them score 46 in the first six overs. Abell’s outstanding performance continued as he eventually scored sixty runs, with Aiden Markram making a respectable 54 off 32 balls, including two fours and two sixes.

Ottniel Baartman, who claimed two significant wickets for 24 runs, was Sunrisers Eastern Cape’s best bowler. In the end, they narrowly defeated MI Cape Town by four runs by protecting their score, securing an exciting victory.
