Despite their aggressive playing style, England is not very tough to beat: Ravindra Jadeja

In Hyderabad, the first Test of the five-match series saw England surprise India. The Ben Stokes-led team trounced the hosts by 28 runs on a spin-friendly surface, establishing a commanding lead in the series. The squad has shown a great deal of bravery and promised to win the remaining three Tests, notwithstanding their defeat in Visakhapatnam.

Prior to the third Test match in Rajkot, Ravindra Jadeja discussed the strengths of England, stating that although they are not the hardest team to beat, they do enjoy playing an aggressive style of cricket. The all-around player continued, saying that although a few small errors cost them the Hyderabad Test, they are now prepared and have improved strategies to counter England’s strategies.

I won’t categorize England as one of the most challenging teams. It hasn’t been simple for other teams to visit and triumph in India. Their playing style is aggressive. We must become accustomed to that and make plans for it. We wouldn’t have lost if we hadn’t made a few little blunders in the first Test’s second innings, according to a Deccan Herald remark from Jadeja.

Ravindra Jadeja talks about his most recent wounds.

The all-rounder, who has been out of commission for some time, most recent injury was a hamstring strain from the first Test match in Hyderabad. Jadeja will make a comeback in Rajkot after being declared ineligible for the second Test in Visakhapatnam. He discussed his recent injuries and how playing too much cricket is affecting his body, which is finally showing, prior to the third Test.

Although it is annoying, the fact that there is more cricket these days is something that is constantly on the back of my mind. The ball comes to me frequently, I am always on the hot spot in every format and cannot hide elsewhere on the field, which may be the cause of my injuries. I’m expected to take nice catches and field well by the team, and that’s good. I may take more intelligent and cautious care of my body, hoping that there won’t be any issues. But none of it is guaranteed,” he stated.
