Jasprit Bumrah, the Indian bowler, will not play in the fourth Test of the current series against England in order to properly manage his workload. One of the key contributors to the Indian team’s victory in the five-game series thus far, the 30-year-old has been in incredible form.
Jasprit Bumrah is expected to drive four hours from Rajkot to Ahmedabad, where he would be permitted to recuperate ahead of the fourth Test. Bumrah has now bowled 80.5 overs in the first three games of the series, making him the leading wicket-taker (17 wickets at 13.64).
It is noteworthy that prominent pacer Mohammed Siraj received a similar amount of rest for the second Test in Vizag.
Additionally, there is currently no information available regarding the BCCI’s plans to find a substitute player for Jasprit Bumrah.
Notably, India scored a whopping 434 runs to win the third Test in Rajkot, giving them a 2-1 series lead.
