The BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) has announced the schedule for the first 21 matches of the competition; the remaining matches will be disclosed after the general election timetable is made public.
Gujarat’s schedule for the first 21 games includes two home games against the Mumbai Indians, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Punjab Kings, respectively. Shubman Gill will serve as Gujarat’s new captain after Hardik Pandya joined the Mumbai Indians (MI) and the team made it to the finals in both of the tournament’s iterations. Therefore, the 24-year-old’s daunting goal would be to replicate Pandya’s achievements on his captaincy debut.
