On March 19, 2024, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) held their yearly event, RCB Unbox, at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. While some fans watched the event live at the venue, many others did so online and through the RCB app. The fans, in the meantime, encountered difficulties when “extreme demand” caused technical issues with the live webcast. The franchise then began to stream live on its own YouTube account, which gave fans a sense of comfort.
RCB, however, admitted responsibility for the technical issue on Thursday, March 21, and declared that they will return the INR 99 that was received from the supporters. Along with acknowledging the inconvenience, the brand assured fans that the upcoming events would be “seamless.”
“Hi RCB fans, we had trouble with the live streaming of the RCB Unbox event because of the high demand. We are therefore giving everyone who paid for the event’s live webcast a refund. We’ve completed processing your refund. Within seven business days, it must appear in your payment account. “We appreciate your cooperation and promise to work hard to ensure a seamless next experience,” RCB said in a statement posted on X.

RCB welcomed former bowler Vinay Kumar into their Hall of Fame during the star-studded event. Royal Challengers Bengaluru, the new moniker of the capital city of Karnataka, is the official name of the franchise. They then revealed their new jerseys, which go better with the red because they are dark blue instead of black like before.
