Regarding Sunil Narine’s possible return to the West Indies cricket team, Rovman Powell disclosed the details of their conversations. The famous cricket player’s last major tournament appearance for the West Indies in T20Is was quite some time ago. Against India in 2019, Narine played his final Twenty20 international match for the West Indies.
Narine has been playing fantastic bowling and batting in the current IPL. At a batting average of 46.00 and a batting strike rate of 187.76, he has amassed 276 runs in six innings with the bat, including a hundred and fifty. He has taken seven wickets with the ball at an economy rate of 6.88 and a bowling average of 23.57.
The great player scored his first T20 century against RR, taking two wickets and claiming a catch in the encounter. KKR lost a thriller in spite of their heroic attempts. Powell’s 26(13) significantly altered the game’s momentum, which was beneficial to RR. Powell said this at the press conference following an exciting victory.
Everyone is invisible to Narine: Rovman Powell
Powell was questioned regarding the possibility of Narine joining the foreign team. He will decide who the KKR star is, according to the RR batter. Cricbuzz cited Narine as saying, “It is what it is, but we will have to see what the future holds,” following his ton against RR.
In addition, Powell disclosed that, for the previous year or so, Narine had filtered off everyone who sought advice from him regarding a return.

Powell claimed in his statement that he had been whispering in Powell’s ear for the previous 12 months, but Powell had shut everyone out. The star batter claims that friends like Kieron Pollard, Nicholas Pooran, and Dwayne Bravo have made suggestions to Narine in an effort to persuade him to rejoin the team.
Rovman wanted to find a way to solve the Narine conundrum before the 2024 T20 World Cup. “Kieron Pollard, Dwayne Bravo, and Nicholas Pooran are the people I’ve asked. Hopefully, they can figure out his code before they choose the squad,” Powell continued.
