Mumbai Indians won the toss and chose to field first, scoring 179/9 off 20 overs. Sandeep Sharma’s excellent comeback performance upset the opposition, as he conceded 18 runs and got five important wickets.

In response, the Rajasthan Royals started aggressively, with Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal scoring 63 runs during the powerplay. There were a few opportunities for the Mumbai Indians, but both Nehal Wadhera and Tim David were unable to control the ball when it was most needed. The fielders blew a fantastic opportunity to send both players back to the pavilion. Even the dependable Jasprit Bumrah struggled, failing to dismiss any of the batters.

Yashasvi Jaiswal scored an incredible hundred today at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, leading the fight for the table leaders. The opener scored his first IPL century in last year’s match against the Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium, demonstrating how much he enjoys playing them. Finally, the Rajasthan Royals completed the chase with eight balls to spare, and Jaiswal capped it off appropriately.
