After observing the turnaround, former Indian cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu expressed his admiration for Gautam Gambhir and stated that he gets better when things become difficult.
The Kolkata Knight Riders are the first club in the current Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 to earn a spot in the playoffs. Navjot Singh Sidhu also discussed how the performance of KKR’s bowlers has been key to the team’s success, pointing out that five of them, excluding Vaibhav Arora, had taken ten wickets apiece.
The only side with five bowlers who have each taken ten wickets and a sixth who has taken nine wickets is KCR. Sidhu remarked, “Show me a team that has six bowlers with 60 wickets in total.”

Speaking of the Kolkata Knight Riders’ next responsibilities, the two-time champions will meet Gujarat Titans after moving on to the tournament’s playoffs. On Monday, May 13, both teams will square off in the tournament’s 63rd match at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.
