2. Arshdeep Singh provides two early innovations for India

In the opening over of Bangladesh’s innings, lanky left-arm seamer Arshdeep Singh gave India a terrific start by taking out Soumya Sarkar. 3. Vice captain Hardik Pandya hits forty off twenty-three.

On the pitch, all-around player Hardik Pandya had an excellent day. As he took on the Bangladeshi bowlers and destroyed them all over the pitch, he was playing at his best as a batsman. He hit two boundaries and four massive sixes in his 23-ball stay. The 30-year-old was excellent with the ball as well, taking one wicket in the warm-up match for the T20 World Cup 2024.
