The day before the third and final Test of the series against the West Indies got underway, hosts England revealed their starting eleven. The Three Lions completed the series in the second Test at Nottingham, defeating the Kraigg Brathwaite-led team by 241 runs, following their innings-and-114-run victory in the first Test at the storied Lords.
In the forthcoming game, which begins on Friday, July 26, The Three Lions will try to sweep the series at Edgbaston, Birmingham, following a couple of convincing wins.
With complete faith in the starting lineup from the second match, England did not alter their strategy for the match and is confident in their winning lineup to completely destroy the Windies.
In the last Test, West Indies will want to triumph.
Although the visitors won’t be as focused on the forthcoming Test, they could still pose a threat to the English team because they will enter the match with no intention of losing.
Having won just one of the six matches they have played so far, the Caribbean team, who is now at the bottom of the ICC World Test Championship 2023–2025 cycle, will be looking to improve.
